Rainbow Balls are created when you match 5 pieces in a row or column together. Rainbow Balls clears the board of 1 type of piece. All of these power-ups can be activated by swapping them with an adjacent piece or tapping them. However, matches of 4 and 5 pieces are and will result in the creation of special power-ups. As the name suggests, you must match three similar pieces in a row or column to earn points. Match-3 games are straightforward and simple. You Don’t Always Need to Combine Power-ups.Focus on Clearing One or Two Pieces to Form Power-Ups.Think Twice Before Using Suggested Moves.The last update today is keyboard remapping to “customize which keys you want to use as controls and match them to your gameplay preferences.” This is “available for select games on compatible devices. Those lower-end devices will see a “limited experience.” Google tells us that Play Games for PC can now run on hardware that has 4GB of RAM and a dual-core processor, but it still recommends 8GB and quad-core or higher. Google also cited an update wherein “hundreds of millions of additional PC users” can now try Play Games. One of our newest additions is Free Fire MAX, which is now available in Malaysia and Taiwan and launching to more regions in the coming weeks
On the content front, Google touts hundreds of games as being available, including: “Cookie Run: Kingdom, Eversoul, Summoners War, Homescapes, Evony: The King’s Return, Call of Dragons and Arknights.” Google wants to bring its gaming ecosystem beyond phones, tablets, and Chromebooks by leveraging synced game progress and libraries. In late May, Play Games for PC was available in 56 countries for a significant doubling. This expansion took place over the past few weeks and brings the total to 121 regions.
Following the last big expansion, Google has brought the Play Games for PC Beta to “more than 60 new regions across Asia Pacific, Europe, and Latin America.”
